Privacy Policy — Red Dot Zero

This Privacy Policy describes how OsiVibe Code ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Red Dot Zero mobile application (the "App") available on Android and iOS.

Your privacy is important to us. Red Dot Zero is designed to operate primarily offline on your device, processing ballistics and zeroing calculations locally without requiring user accounts or registering personal identities.

1. We Do Not Collect Personal Information

We do not require user registration or account creation. We do not collect, request, or store personally identifiable information such as your name, home address, phone number, or email address.

2. Data Handled by the Application

A. Local Ballistics Data & Configurations (Stored Exclusively on Your Device)

To calculate ballistics trajectory curves, bullet drop, wind drift, and optic turret click adjustments, the App processes and stores your firearm and target profiles:

Firearm & Ammunition Parameters: Caliber, bullet weight (grains), muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient (G1/G7), barrel length, and sight/optic height above bore.
Target & Environmental Distances: Target range, zeroing distance, and windage estimations.
User Preferences: Measurement units (Imperial/Metric, Yards/Meters, Inches/Centimeters), optic turret click values (MOA, MRAD/MIL, 1/4 MOA, 1/2 MOA, 0.1 MIL), and target reticle display options.

Storage: All firearm profiles and calculation parameters are stored locally on your device in secure app storage (using SharedPreferences on Android and NSUserDefaults on iOS). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

B. Automatically Processed Data & Third-Party Services

The App integrates standard third-party service providers to deliver ads and maintain application performance and stability:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to display advertisements supporting the App's ongoing development. AdMob may process non-sensitive device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or iOS IDFA), coarse geographic region (country/city level based on IP), and ad interaction telemetry. Google Firebase: Used for core application infrastructure, crash monitoring, and overall stability diagnostics to resolve bugs and performance issues.

3. Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Consent (iOS)

On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 and later, Red Dot Zero respects Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework:

The App presents an explicit ATT permission request prior to collecting the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
If you choose "Ask App not to Track", personalized tracking is disabled and only non-personalized or contextual ads are delivered.
You can modify your tracking permissions at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iOS device.

4. EEA, UK, & Regional Ad Consent (GDPR / UMP)

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App utilizes Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain explicit consent for advertising cookies and identifiers where required by law. You can review or update your consent preferences at any time in the App's settings.

5. Ballistic Calculation Disclaimer

Safety Disclaimer: Red Dot Zero provides mathematical estimates based on standard physics and aerodynamic ballistic models. Environmental conditions, firearm variations, and ammunition tolerances can affect actual projectile trajectory. Users are solely responsible for practicing safe firearm handling, verifying all calculations downrange, and adhering to applicable local laws.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Because your firearm parameters and zeroing configurations reside exclusively on your local device, you maintain full control over your data:

You can reset or edit profiles directly within the App's interface.
You can permanently delete all stored data by clearing the App's cache/storage in your device's system settings, or by uninstalling the Application.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Red Dot Zero is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe any personal data has inadvertently been collected, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate measures.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, new regulations, or changes to third-party services. Any updates will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We recommend checking this page periodically.
