OsiVibeCode LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, publishes Heat Watch Lite, a macOS menu bar utility from the Mac App Store that shows how hot and busy your Mac is and alerts you when it stays busy, slows down to cool off, or runs low on memory or disk space. This policy explains what the app reads and stores. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting.
Heat Watch Lite runs inside the macOS App Sandbox and reads only figures for the whole Mac: overall CPU and GPU use, memory pressure, macOS's heat state, battery charge and health, apps keeping the Mac awake, total network speed and free disk space. It cannot see what other apps are doing, read their files or close them.
Heat Watch Lite keeps its data in its sandbox container, at
~/Library/Containers/com.osivibecode.heatwatch.lite/. It is never
transmitted anywhere:
If you choose Export History as CSV…, Heat Watch Lite writes a file to the place you pick, and only there.
Heat Watch Lite makes no network connections. Updates come only through the Mac App Store.
None. Heat Watch Lite contains no advertising SDK, no analytics library and no cloud service. Nothing about you or your Mac leaves it.
It does not ask for Accessibility, Screen Recording, your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
Because everything is stored locally, we have no access to it and nothing to delete on our side. To remove it all, move Heat Watch Lite to the Trash; macOS removes its container with it, or you can delete the container folder above.
Heat Watch Lite is a general-purpose desktop utility and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
If a future version of Heat Watch Lite ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
