🔥 Heat Watch — End User License Agreement

Effective Date: October 9, 2026

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and OsiVibeCode LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we", "us", "osivibecode") for the Heat Watch application for macOS ("the Software"), downloaded from osivibecode.xyz or GitHub. By installing or using the Software you agree to these terms. Heat Watch Lite, from the Mac App Store, is covered by Apple's standard licence agreement instead.

1. License Grant

The Software is free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use it on Macs you own or control, for personal or internal business use.

2. Restrictions

3. Intellectual Property

The Software is licensed, not sold. OsiVibeCode LLC retains all right, title and interest in it, including all copies and modifications.

4. What the Software Does

Heat Watch reads your Mac's CPU, GPU, memory, power, temperature, battery, network and disk figures, shows them in the menu bar and its window, and alerts you when something keeps the Mac working hard. Its figures are estimates from what macOS reports; they are informational and not a diagnostic or safety tool.

Quitting apps can lose unsaved work. When you choose Quit or Stop Gradle Daemons and confirm, Heat Watch asks those processes to stop. Normal apps get the chance to save first; background processes and virtual devices such as the Android Emulator may lose anything unsaved. You decide each time; see the disclaimer below.

5. Changes to Your System

The Software does not modify macOS. "Open at login" adds a login item you can remove in System Settings â–¸ General â–¸ Login Items.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, that its readings are accurate, or that it will work with every future version of macOS. Chip temperature relies on an interface macOS does not document, and may stop working after a macOS update.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OsiVibeCode LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the Software — including work lost when you quit an app through it.

8. Privacy

The Software collects no personal data. Its only network connection is the update check, which you can switch off. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Updates & Changes

Updates may be provided at our discretion and are covered by this Agreement unless accompanied by different terms. We may revise this Agreement; the revised version applies to versions of the Software released after it.

10. Termination

This licence ends if you breach these terms or when you uninstall the Software. If you breach these terms you must stop using the Software and remove all copies.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

12. General

If any part of this Agreement is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this Agreement; we may assign it to a successor of our business. This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between us about the Software.
