Terms of Use (EULA)

Geoid Globe · Effective 26 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and osivibecode ("we") for the Geoid Globe app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them.

1. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, as the rules of the store you got it from allow. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows this despite these terms.

2. Information only

The app shows time zones, local times, clock changes and geoid heights for general information and education. They come from public data sources (see Data and Credits) that may be simplified, out of date or wrong. Time zone rules change, sometimes at short notice.

Do not rely on the app for navigation, surveying, aviation, legal deadlines, travel bookings, or anything where a wrong time or height could cause harm or loss. Check important times with an official source.

3. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be error-free, accurate, or always available.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity, arising from your use of the app or your inability to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

5. Data

The app collects no personal data. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party data

The app includes data from third parties under their own licences, credited on the Data and Credits page. These terms do not limit your rights under those licences.

7. Apple App Store

If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's agreement wins. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for addressing claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

8. Google Play

If you got the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your use of Google Play.

9. Ending the licence

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. The licence ends automatically if you break these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date.
